Key Responsibilities:
- Build the private sector fundraising strategy along with the Reporting Head.
- Execute the strategy and jointly build systems and processes to ensure the same.
- Responsible for building a pipeline for potential funding sources – corporate, philanthropists, and foundations.
- Responsible for maintaining databases across donor categories.
- Responsible for new and creative ways to sustain, grow and diversify funding sources.
- Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers at potential funding partner organizations.
- Identify / research and attend sector-focused networking events.
- Donor Engagement:
- Work closely with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure donor delight.
- Develop donor engagement plans towards building strong partnerships and long-term advocates of our work in the donor community.
- People management:
- Guide and mentor the team to build capability.
- Provide regular support and feedback to the team to improve performance.
- Ensure team retention and motivation.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualification
Graduate / Post-graduate
Experience
12 - 16 years in the development sector (with minimum 10 years’ experience in institutional/corporate fundraising for the healthcare sector – mandatory)
Language
English, knowledge of other languages will be a plus.
