Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evaluation techniques, research methods and statistical analysis skills. This role will require a blend of analytical rigour, creativity, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluation and Reporting: Support the Evaluation of program effectiveness and efficiency using quantitative metrics and help prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
2. Maintain Data Integrity: Ensure that all monitoring, evaluation and research adhere to ethical standards, maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of data.
3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Support internal team, Projects team, and external stakeholders to provide quantitative insights.
4. Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest quantitative evaluation, research methodologies, and industry trends.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Education: Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Population Studies, Public Health or a similar field
2. Experience: Minimum of 0-1 year of relevant experience in evaluation, preferably in the public health sector.
3. Skills:
- Expertise in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, R).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in data visualisation and reporting tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
4. Desirable:
- Experience with Qualitative Methodologies and Tools is a plus, e.g. Atlas-Ti, NVivo.
- Understanding of Academic and Report writing skills.
Working Conditions:
1. Work from the Office only.
2. 5 days working.
3. Occasional travel may be required for data collection or field research.
